Stop Pretending!

Stop Pretending! Should you no longer care what has been happening in your home country. Should you no longer bother to do something for your homeland because you already live in another land.

Should you do not want to vote, just say it so. I accept everyone has the rights of their own belief.

I do have some Malaysian friends who have long resided in other countries, i have never forced them to register as "postal voters" nor imposed any obligation for them to fly back to vote. I respect their choice.

However for those whom themselves who do not want to fly back, but indeed question those who have decided to fly back that they could vote in their reside country instead, and also encourage others no need to fly back but register as "postal voters", i cant help but.... despise them to be fake!

I truly understand the inconvenience for us overseas Malaysians to be away from our work place, from our daily schedules in our reside country.

I have been highlighting in my writings: "INI Kalilah! Cuma satu kali, make it INI Kalilah!"

I understand all certainly have work commitment as well as family commitment. Some may have medical condition to make the journey.

....Just that INI Kalilah!

....How worse you want to see Malaysia to deteriorate into, only then you feel moved.

....Even you already live in the so-called "developed" countries (where despite discrimation still cannot be avoided but as long as one is diligent, one could still be able to succeed in those lands), dont you want to see your home country to have the chance to progress as well?

....Most of you should have experienced the inefficiencies, bureaucratism and strong sense of society insecurity in Malaysia, while you are able to live free from fear, cant you have some empathy to your fellow Malaysians who have been fighting hard and hoping for more strength to outnumber the far-beyond-laymen-imagination-number of ghosts in the electoral system!?

What you are doing now, it is like seeing someone having fallen into a river and struggling for rescue but you choose to walk away because you have a meeting to attend, because you have more important things to do in your life.

Even you cannot swim, you can still call for help or do something to rescue the drowning one.

Should you choose not to care and you cannot do anything, just say it so. I will still respect and show my politeness to you.

However, stop pretending you care but you cannot do much with giving all sorts of excuses to justify you are still a good man.

While there are many difficulties for us overseas Malaysians to make the move to fly back home to vote, it is just a matter of WILL.

It is just a matter you want to do it or not. It is just a matter how strong your will is.

Dr Kamsiah Haider, a dentist in Malaysia: "It doesn’t matter if you have a genius IQ and a PhD in Quantum Physics, you can’t change anything or make any sort of real-world progress without taking action. There’s a huge difference between knowing how to do something and actually doing it. Knowledge and intelligence are both useless without action. It’s as simple as that."

By the way, talking about medical condition, i was admitted emergency into hospital last September for five days. During my 5-day stay in hospital, i could only vomit non-stop for three full days, no medical doctor nor medicine could help me.

Since then, i would feel dizzy and even vomit should i be the passenger in the car for merely 20 minutes. It was a big concern for me as well as for my German husband and my doctor in Switzerland that i sit in the plane from Zurich to KL for a total of about 16 hours, excluding 3 hours transit time in Muscat, Oman and excluding other travelling hours in other transport modes.

Before i boarded into the plane, i took a pill of preventing nauseaness which i normally did not take. When i was in the plane, i kept the airstewardness informed about my body condition and i kept on drinking water in order to get my body neutralized.

While i share this here, i merely want to transmit a message: It is just a matter of WILL!

A message posted by Daniel Liew on JomBalikUndi:

“For those Malaysians who are in overseas. If you can come back and vote during the GE13, it will be very much appreciated. We need a change in our Malaysian Government. Vote for Pakatan Rakyat (PKR, DAP, PAS) during the GE13. Every vote counts. Try to avoid the Election Commission (EC) online/postal vote if possible. Most of us don't trust the EC online/postal vote after discovering there are registrations frauds (eg.: a person had never registered to vote is automatically being registered as a voter in EC) within the EC itself.”
